Thread: Best source of Avian meat?

Any advice on which creature yields the most meat per kill? I realize shifts are another matter..

Peko peko albatross, Naboo. 500 units per kill.
Of course, you need an army to take one down....
I've been getting 37 units off of giant peko pekos (this a scout 4/0/4/0 using veghash to up the harvest yield) over the last few days on Ahazi, where avian on Naboo is very nice. Kaadus, pekos, nunas...all must die for buff packs!

I would say Yavin 4, doing whisper bird missions, that paired with veghash and a ranger you can come away with some nice avain and pretty fast to.

If you're going to go all the way to Yavin, then dont waste time with Whispers. Instead, try Choku missions. I get around 300 per mission lair, with Hunting III, no Veghash. Wild lairs should be even better, if fully exterminated. Missions net approx 3.5k each, so while it's not great money, it's not too bad either, and very little work.

Naboo, Lok, Dathomir and Yavin are all fairly easy placesto get lair missions

I would have to agree that naboo is by far the easiest (easy is a relative term) place to get quantity of avian..
