Hey i just want to say when we buff people we give them extrmly higher stats and we alone are the only one s who can buff so high. so i think as a comunity we should charge no less then 15k and keep it flat. people cant say no i wont get buffed too many rely on it. we could esyly make alot more mony.

Oh look, another person that wants to get into price fixing just to gouge the customers.
It will never happen.

I could not agree less with raising buff prices. Or buff price fixing for that matter. This should be a free market economy.
Among the reasons you see people charging 100 cpu for good resources is so they can get more money to buy stuff, and pay for overpriced buffs! I charge 8k. 8k for buffs over 2200 (over 2400 with bivoli) that last 3 hrs 15 min +. I don't charge those in my guild at all.
I amassed 10 million credits charging 5k 6 months ago. I only raised my prices more recently when greedy people started charging so much for resources. Yet I'm still the cheapest doc on the server. I may raise prices, but only when I start losing money. I hunt as much of my own meat as possible, and even tho I have no artisan, I mine my own resources as much as possible. I got friends! And guildmates I buff for free, who are more than willing to survey and get me wp to good spots. Think about it.
Somehow, I still have money, and still have fun.
Charge what you want, but when I sit beside you and start charging 8k (and I still make a profit you greedy mugs) you're gonna have to re-evaluate.
Just my 8k worth...

Search the forums for some cross server doctors union. Unions in a game will never never never work. Supply and demand always will. The market will set its own price.

I charge 15k as a matter of principle. I do not stand at the starports buffing. I am usually busy with my guild doing more interesting things. I will buff but only at a price that makes it worth my while to do so. I picked up Master Doc to aid my guild, not to aid the solo group hunters wandering around. If buff prices increase to 15k, then I will simply charge 20k for them. It's not price gouging at all. I have better things to do than to buff someone I do not know.

Exactly my point! It's not gouging even if you charge 25K and it's not too cheap if you only charge 4K. Supply and demand. If you can get 25K for a buff then more power to you. People won't pay if they dont think it's worth it. And if you can find someone buffing at 4K more power to you. People won't buff if they don't feel it's worth it. Supply and demand... that's what it all comes down to.

Its not a matter of supply and demand in the original post though. Its price fixing, and its illegal in the real world. Personally, i will charge whatever i see fit.

I think buff prices will take care of themselves. Ive only been a MD for a little over a month and Ive already seen the average price go up 2K.
