I agree, at least 30 seconds between ads. Mine is set at 45 seconds and I think it's too short.

do not come in here saying that a doctor spam pollutes the spatial, I've seen the barker droids/people afk shouting every 3 seconds all day every day. That is a lame part and most of the time a doc has to spam over that to even get heard, that is one cause to speed up the buff spam.

It isn't just the advertising spam. That is of use and if you don't send it out every two or three minutes you get bombarded by the "how much" and "are you buffing" questions. I wish that we could stick a shingle on our droid that advertised prices and terms so spamming wasn't necessary.

The spam that bothers me the most is the "buffing 1/6", "buffing 2/6" ..... "you are finished" etc. This is not necessary to be in spatial chat and if you really must have it just change the message to /ttell "buffing 1/6". That will spam your target and not spatial. Your customers will probably let you know what they think ofthe spam. Most do appreciate the /ttell at the end of the buff session to let them know to move on. Prompting the next person in line isn't generally a problem, but that could use /ttell as well.

I've noticed that a lot of docs who have lines rarely spam their buff stats very often. Many customers don't know the cost until it's their turn. When I buff I usually try to get in the spam every customer or so, but often get caught up in chatting and forget. As long as customers hear it some time when they're in line, then they'll know what to expect.

hey guys....

I know a lot of docs that buff in public need to advertise. I also know how many morons there are that right after you spam an advertisement for buffs ask you how much.

But please....I keep seeing doc's with a spam macro set to 5 seconds....that is lame. Not only does it polute the chat, it is very annoying.

Now I realise that doc's spamming are the least of the spam problems...but lets try to tone it down to every 15 to 30 seconds.

Just say NO to spam

The 1/6, 2/6, 3/6 annoys me to no end. I dispise those messages. You can see in your modifiers window which buff you get, and that message in the middle of your screen jsut fine when getting buffed. Does everyone else REALLY need to know when your stamina gets buffed? A message saying when the buff is done is nice, which tells the next customer their turn is next.

I personally like to say Hello, 10k , and when done i say ALL SET.

that is cut and dry and keeps the line moving and the bivoli use at its max. All else a doctor should ignore, (except the ocassional..can you teach me)
