Okay, here's something that should be useful, instead of my usual economic rants

Read http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=TestCenter&message.id=91201 for a summary of the quest, then read on.

Gather up some (few thousand each should be plenty) low, medium, and high quality Flora and Metal (OQ, PE, UT). It's important to have some god, some medium, and some lousy resources.

Once you've agreed to help Silvarra, and thus locked in your ONE choice for the quest you'll do in Phase 1, you'll get an Experimental Biological Counteragent schematic (EBC), which takes 5 Flora and 10 Metal.

Talk to a droid, and read the list of symptoms his patient has. The symptoms are listed in order of increasing severity. The more severe the symptom (later in the list), the more experimental quality your crafting will need to get your EBC to cure that symptom. And vice versa; the less severe (earlier in the list) will REQUIRE low experimental quality, or else you'll skip the low symptom and upon initial assembly it will already be at the medium symptoms.

Look at the last symptom. Let's say it's Bloody Cough. Experiment an EBC with good resources high enough to cure Bloody Cough (ignore any other symptoms it cures). Drag it onto the droid, then talk to the droid again. He'll read you the same list of symptoms, minus Bloody Cough. Keep making cures that cure the last symptom on the list, and dragging them onto the droid. When you get to the lower symptoms, like Fever, you'll be thankful you brought some junk Metal and Flora, because if your resources are too good, then your initial experiment will bring the quality too high to cure the less severe symptoms (I made this mistake, and I'm typing this up now before I drive back to my home to grab some junk resources ).

Repeat this for 5 patients, and you'll be done getting the Enhanced Senses: Persuasion branch unlocked. Do it for 10 and 15 total patients to get additional rewards.

Good luck!

I'll try to revise this later, let me know if anything was confusing!

I wrote down the percentages needed for some of the cures. This might help some people although your numbers could look slightly different because of your different resource stats. Notice that only the last one (open sores) were experimented on the Secondary. All the rest were experimented on the Primary (or not at all).

pus-filled lesions:28/26/28
violent spams:70/26/28
erratic heart-rate:35/26/28
respatory failure:42/26/28
lost vision:56/26/28
partial paralysis:63/26/28
bloody cough:78/26/28
swelling:85/26/28
internal bleeding:93/26/28
vomitting:12/7/5
open sores:5/21/5

I forgot to write down the percentages for fever. But it used very low values on all three and didn't require experimentation - at least not with my resources.

My friend wants to do this quest but he doesnt currently have any of the Crafting line in Medic. Can he do this quest without that?

I couldnt find anyplace that listed the minimum Profession requirement for this quest.

Also, if "master medic" isnt required (or something higher) whats to stop someone from having a doc friend make the medicines for them to heal the villagers?

you need at least 100 points to medical experimentation to be able to do this I'm pretty sure, otherwise I doubt very much you will get to 92% or whatever it takes for internal bleeding.

Maybe if he had some good resources, but I dont know.

I dont suggest trying it unless you are a MD.

Master Medic is required to take the quest. But you will need a doctor to complete it. Bit silly. But you can complete the quest if you are given the needed cures from a doctor.

I found with my alt that experimenting on the secdondary never created any side effects. I only experimented on primary when it was somthing I couldn't get on teh secondary.

That is funny because I found it to be the opposite. If I experimented on the secondary, I almost always got side effects. It must have something to do with the resource stats.
