I was playing a toon on Tempest that is fairly new. I play with a buddy of mine who is not very adept at this game yet. I play a doctor on Sunrunner so I know how this profession goes. I also don't have the credits with this character to get buffed every time I log on. But here's what happened the other day....

My friend and I were on CNet getting ready to get missions. Mainly Razor cat missions so you know the difficulty level, with being a Master Marksman. There was a Novice Doctor handing out low end buffs for free, just for the xp. So I said, "Hey, gimme some of that!" and it made a huge difference. I would even pay for this.

So it got me thinking, has anyone thought about doing a type of Noob Buffing? Low end buffs that only give you a 500 boost, but make the difference when you're out killing Spineflaps. Maybe even do this in Eisley to all the new people starting?

I realize this would just be a public service, but it also adds to the game. Hell, I will even randomly buff people waiting for shuttles if I can tell they're a newer player, or even just to be nice.

Just head out to Eisley, and start giving buffs away. But I do examine the person first, if you're running up to me in full Composite, and asking for money/buffs.... I'm pretty sure you'll get ignored. Ifthey have almost no badges, in bone armor with a cdef, I usually help those people out.
