I posted a similar question recently, and was fairly encouraged by the replies. I'm not a master in either, so far, but as a "journeyman" so far I've enjoyed it.

Im Mdoc/Mcarbs with some pistols for a stopping shot. I think it is a very good PvE temp and turns out to be good in PVP as well. It's been fun for sure.

Lol yes i'm master of both with some pistol form stoping shot also and i got the ranged arms to help with our range limitations. Forme its a very strong group pvp templet. I have been doing very good since i picked it up. LoL i haven been wanted for a lot of pvp lately.

im currently master carbs with xxx3 pistols for stopping and grinding master doc and im at 4334 and im lovin it so far. great pve and pvp

I had this template before becoming Jedi.

I mixed scout skills into my template as most of my play is hunting for creature loot / resources.

Very solid template for PVE, PVP, or solo play.

Quite frankly, after becoming a Jedi and feeling very nerfed, there have been many days I wish I could go back.
