Thread: Healers and combat xp

Medic, doctor and combat medic are considered combat professions. We only get xp for healing in combat. So why dont we get combat xp for healing too?


I heal a tank that kills a fambaa --> I get 5000 med xp

I shoot once at the same fambaa that the tank is hitting and we kill it ---> I get 5000 weapon xp and 500 combat xp.


Why?

Probably because no combat xp is used in gaining any doctor or CM boxes, unlike the combat profs. However, maybe there should be a line of combat xp in the doctor and CM trees, in the post-cu world...

Yes, but most healers want (and need) a second combat profession to stay alive in the field and that second profession uses combat xp.


Good idea on that combat xp line btw.

Of course it would help for healer like me who is grinding fs exp
