I mean...

Since entertainers can get off hand glow sticks, why not setup medical profs with offhand stims or scanners?

I think that dual-wielding pistols are far more likely well before docs are shown wielding stims or something. In any case, for us it would just be a graphical enhancement, I can't imagine it making a gameplay difference. But all those pistoleers have John Woo fantasies that won't be denied...
