Thread: Questions: The healing and buff nerf

Anyone got some numbers on healing from test center. I haven't seen any patch notes regarding this just people saying it on the boards.


Also did the buff duration increase or decrease in time, I've looked through some of the posts here but can't find anything.


I know adrenal boost is dropping from +40 to +25


I'm going to troll some more see if I can try dig up any information.

Buffs for mind, action and heatlh are decreasing in duration. Believe the time is being reduced from 40min to 25min, dont know if our heals are getting nerfed at all.

Holy Crap, why is the duration being lowered. People complained about docs not going out with a group to buff at outposts. I predict that within a year the devs will make it so the doc has to be no more than 10 meters from a player for the buff to be active.

If you mean "no more than 10m away", heh, I wouldn't be surprised. It sure would cut down on the problem of hunters running 50m off from the group, getting incapped, then getting mad because they weren't getting healed. I tell 'em, stay relatively close or you're on your own. Not going to abandon 3/4 of my team just for one glory hound.

It's like affirmative action for video games.


We have to make sure that all professions are even with each other. No profession can/or will be better than the other regardless of the skillset, tools of the trade used or whether you have/don't have horns on your head.


It amazes me that with so many broken items in the game, they take the time to make professions even worse than before.

The healing change was needed to make any doc skill above tier 2 worth it. The buff durations reduced makes no sense because they didn't decrease or remove the cooldown on thost buffs. 25min buff when you need over 5min to buff a full group when your are going to spend more than an hour is most groups does little to increase our group usefullness as much as not having time to buff people in general.


They need to reduce the cooldown so that WHEN there is a doc present that doesn't take so long. Or make our buffs AOE so we can buff the entire group faster.

sorry i was looking for info about doc buff changes as i just got buffed and there was 0 difference in the duration that i saw, and i saw this post, im jedi, ive been many proffesions in this game and i disagree 100% with you here. i dont want any proffessions nerfed i DO want balance and i want all the dumbass bugs in this game fixed once and for all, it seems like they just keep adding more and more bugs and unbalancing things ever more. As for the jedi forums that place is a complaint spot for a mminority of jedi and bh,noneof thejediI know want doc nerfed.

well there seems to be zero difference to the buff durations, the adrenal buff got hit down to +25 but still I notice a difference. Stims now have a cycle timer on them which is kinda cool I guess, will just need getting use to.


Healing: well with improved bacta shot at doc4xxx and +25 healing effiency I'm still hitting around 1.3k didn't really check the jab.


That won't effect me in the slightest.


What they should do IMO is making it so standard, improved and advance take different mind cost.

That will mean most docs will be docs only for themselves, i.e. buff themselves and that's it.....noway I'm going to spend 10 minutes buffing my group then in 15 more minutes have to spend another 10 minutes doing the same freaking thing. This is the most retarded way to make doctors "more useful" in groups.

we could always start charging for buffs again.... players that tip you get their buffs kept up.

I think the point was that they made the dabblers less useful. As a MDoc I'm not seeing any change besides the lowering of the adren.
