I had a nice experience last night.
I was at the Dathomir science outpost, and my buffs had just run out. The doctor that had been there half an hour before had disappeared, so I was pondering having to go to Coronet (something I don't like to do). I noticed someone get off the shuttle with a Field Surgeon title and his badges included a mastery of doctor, so I sent him a tell politely asking if he could by any chance buff me. By the time I sent this to him, he was mounted on his speeder, and I expected him to fly off and reply that he wasn't buffing, which would be completely understandable.
Instead, he replied that he could, got off his speeder, ate some havla and i think some bivoli (sp? the buffs were close to 2600), and gave me great buffs. I asked him how much I could pay him for his trouble, and he just asked for something fair. Because of the kindness and trust of this doctor, I tipped him 2.5 times the typical going rate on my server, and wish I had a bigger bankroll to be able to afford an even greater tip.
So, while I thanked him in game, I thought I would give a thank you on the boards to anyone who is kind and trusting as a doctor. I know the tell-hell must be horrible, and when you can keep your cool and still be nice, it's a wonderful thing

Very Kind Doc you met While on Dath one night hunting NS a girl comes running to me asking for a rebuff I said sure. She asked how much said whats fair got a whopping 100k!

The boxes are filled and the quests are complete. Nothing else to do in this forum but say thanks to my good friends Zyris-vy and Kouin for supplying founds and equipment. You guyz are the greatest and Kouin has got to be the craziest rodian on corbantis....hands down lol. Anyways, thanks you two and to everyone else still doing the quests and grinding...good luck to you, patience you will need...

Well then!
I have been MDE for a couple of weeks now, but I crafted my first fully functional combat droids yesterday (spent the first 2 weeks doing factory runs of all items).
So, at this point, a thank youto the authors of the Droid 101 and the various helpful posts that are out there.
Even though the 101 isn't complete or perhaps as efficient as it could be, it holds a lot of information that was invaluable to me, learning the various ins and outs of DE. I'll still be a newbie for a fair while I suspect!
Ow and Drashk/Calous.. impressive amount of typing/testing/researching you have done. Do you get paid by SOE to do all this?

Hate to butt in on a thank you but I must say the info you and others like you has made my year of DE an informative one.
Thanks for all the guides/posts/testing.
This just sounded like a good time to give respect and thanks where they are due!

The guide to me is incredible. I can't think of what else should go into the guide. I was a DE since Dec 2003 and still used the guide as recently as 2mos ago.
