I have just started crafting as a Master Doctor and am a little confused about how to make quality products. I know some basic, and that you need quality resources, but what qualities of each resources are the most important, and how much affect do they have on the outcome. I would also really appreciate advice on the whole crafting process as i am just starting out. If anyone has any good tips or reference to an in depth guide or something similar, i would really appreciate it.

-Thanks

Pretty much all you need to know about crafting meds it's in there.

Nothing worth doing is completed in our lifetime,
Therefore, we are saved by hope.
Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history;
Therefore, we are saved by faith.
Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone.
Therefore, we are saved by love.
No virtuous act is quite a virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as from our own;
Therefore, we are saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.

C'mon give this guy a little help
"This is actually much trickier than it seems at first..."

I took the above quote from a link about crafting in the FAQ link you gave him. Maybe some Docs can help with some "I only accept this #quality of resource to make X..." type of help. This way he then can go back and read through some of these rather lengthy description (even though they are well written and should be read).
Frankly I would love to hear what people will or won't use as far as quality of resource as well as I am starting to think about making more meds.

Wether you "wasted time crafting ABECs" or were a doc extrodinare crafting uber stim As that no one wanted to buy is besides the point. The above advice to go over the faq and do a forum search for doc crafting info is good advice. The smart aleck comment in the 3 post accomplished absolutly nothing.

Also check out SWGcrafters.com for good info, resources needed for schematics info and resource spawn prog complete with the stats, its built right into the website. SWGmedic.com also is good for info. Good luck Dood!

Smart Aleck huh....well atleast I know the profession and have Earned my Master Doctor Title. The questions I asked were legitimate, not "What reasources do I use because I don't want to read!?!" Infact from now on My above post is going to be my generic Response. Actually I think I will add it to my Sig for some laughs.

I have to disagree with you here.

Only reason why other Docs around here point people that ask this kind of question to the FAQ at firstit's because, simply put ...

"This is actually much trickier than it seems at first..."

... The FAQ is a starting point. A very good one at that if I might add. Once the new Docs actually read the FAQ they will probably still have questions, butmore specific questions, that you can be sure the Doc community encourage them tobring here,and where other Docs and myself will most certainly try to help them out with our own experiences and knowledge.

So it's not about not being helpful, but about being pratical at first.

As for his question. It's all on any Master Doc Draft Schematics. I mean if you like crafting ... in ANY profession, I really strongly suggest you to at least spare a few minutes looking at the Schems of the things you can make. It is interesting and quite self-explanatory too.The percentages of how important certain stats are and how will they affect the final product it's all there. (And it's all pretty easy to understand too ... aside from a couple of Schems that use certainresourcesthat are missing certain stats ... but then ... all of that are carefully explained on the FAQ links ...)

See my point now?

If you would have actually crafted product instead of wasting time with ABEC's you wouldn't have to ask this question. But hey, thats about the only advice I can give other then the above.
