Hi, I run what you could call a high volumebuff pack business on the Gorath server.
I craft about 700 full sets of 31 Charge|932 Power|12.2k Duration|89 Meduse packs per week.
I have enough resources to craft many many buff packs, I've always tried to keep my "Cash/Bank" close to zero and always invest in resouces. And up until today I had a net worth of about 1 billion credits.
Well I've decided after reading the CU notes that I am not going to wait around and keep going the same way I've been. So I've cut the price of all my packs down to 70k a set, about 40% of what they should be. I am setting down 6 more factories, and I will try to push production up to 1000 sets a week.
I am basically selling them only a small percentage above "at-cost"
Sold about 250 sets in the past 3 hours since the mark down.
Any other high volume crafters doing the same thing?

Excellent idea, I hope you take advantage of the respec and become a master medic/master bio engineer and continue by making uber enhancers for Docs and stims for everyone as it seems you have a good grasp of crafting.

That is what I am considering.
Over my two Characters I am hoping I can have MBE/Medic/Chef/Merchant

It's good to see at least some in the Doctor community still have their heads on. 
I hope more follow your lead, as someone will have to continue to be pharmaeutical crafters.

I like to think I'm keeping my head, but wasn't a crafter before, so probably won't pick up later either. I am, however, sticking with doctor, as long as there are enough SP's to master a combat profession (fencer) and a non-combat profession (doctor). Otherwise I'll have some deciding to do...
Of course, I won't do anything until the CU actually hits, as for now, it's all still just speculation.

yeap better sell off what crafted items u do have. for when CU comes all that is what we know now will be useless then. i find it insulting that the doc crafting is being moved to BE so that you have to go dabbling off into that just to make your own meds.
this is probably the straw that pushes me to cancellation altogether of SWG.
they might as well just wipe every character, delete all items and restart the game lol
for that is what essentially is going tohappen.

Oh, I'm not only selling off what I have, but I am also crafting like crazy. I am trying to get rid of all my resources through these packs, because the demand for the resources has dropped so much, and Buffs will still sell until the CU hits. The problem is, I have 5000 sets worth of resources. So I have 18 Factories running at full speed right now. I sold about 350 Sets of buffs in the past 12 hours, so I don't think it will bea problem for me to liquidate.

I'm sure glad I didn't kick my buff production into high-gear since I came back to the game a few weeks ago, or I'd be in trouble. I've got my packs at 99k a set just trying to sell what reserves I have left, though people don't seem to like running out to Tatooine anymore to buy buff packs.
And Post-CU I'm probably going with whatever profession is needed to craft medical components, assuming they still use the same resources (if not I will have to find someone else who needs avian meat
)

Nice to hear that Nornerator, I may have to drop my prices because my buff selling has totally halted and very unhappy, I blame this combat upgrade for it, ahh well...still got over a month left...until may anyway to get my stuff sold, I believe SOE will probably do something about the resources we have and they won't go to waste, hopefully they will read many of these posts on the doctor forum and realise they have to do something not to upset 100's of doctors across many servers

Well i've made just around the 1 Billion Mark from Medical Crafting so far.
I intend to carry on until, i can no more.
Until the game, forces me to stop.
I will craft at my normal prices, which i always monitor and lower continuously.
I will work as far and i wont craft, like there is no tomorrow.
