Thread: Master vs. 0-4-3-4 And Beta Mind buffs?
I'm in a toss up right now between a Master Carbineer/Master Doctor or a Master Rifleman/Doctor(0-4-3-4) [/aim is almost required for riflemen, i'm 1 point shy of getting master both, /aim and scout exploration 1.(+20 terrain nego)]. I'm currently waiting unitl I see how mind damage/Weapon Ham experimentation/Food buffs are "Fixed".
How does master Doctor compared to 0-4-3-4 Or even 4-4-4-4?
And, during the beta, I know doctors had mind healing, Did doctors also have mind buffs? If they did, are doctors currently trying to get them back if mind healing is re-introduced(even if we dont do the mind healing)?

I just responded to a thread asking about master CH or master DOC (should be just below). Basically the only benefit to master doc (for me) is being able to make secondary stat enhance-D's -- and I can see the amount of skill points required to get master doc not worth that benefit for a lot of people.
There are no mind buffs and there won't be for docs.
Actually, there are mind buffs. Master Dancers and Master Musicians can buff your mind by watching and listening. I think that the buff lasts for 2x the amount of time you listen, up to half hour of listening. I don't know what the values are on these buffs, but I do know they happen.
Food, drink, and spice also buffs mind.
The musician buffs seem to enhance substats by 50%. Dancer buffs enhance mind by 25%. Or at least that's what I've seen from watching/listening to both. Although it might be the other way around, not sure. The buff also lasts for twice as long as you listen, up to a max of 30 minutes total buff time.
