Think it would be a problem to ask the dev's for a warning and conscent pop-up like you get before destroying an item, but for the times when we try to heal someone that is TEF'ed and we don't know they are? The option should be able to be turned off just like the destroy item conscent can be. Anyone wanna add their opinions?

By the way I am a pvp doctor myself and always getting flagged without complaining. I just think there is alot of upset covert doc's out there that like to help out the other coverts that get injured outside of the war. I'm also totally against safe zones and removing pvp from med centers. I just believe that if the opposing faction can tell when a covert did something to get him TEF'ed a fellow faction mate should be able to tell as well.

Well, this issue did make it all the way up to #7 in the last voting, so plety of folks do think it's a fairly important issue. (Unfortunately we only get to send 5 issues, so the Devs won't see that one coming from me unless they end up reading the big list.) It's definitely a problem, though, IMHO.

On a related note, I think docs that are neutral should be able to get TEF's. As it stands now, if I try to heal someone that is overt or has a TEF, I get a message stating that, "It would be unwise to help such a patient." Okay, that's fine, but where's the override? If I can bypass the security for sampling radioactives and fry myself to a crisp in doing so, why can't I choose to heal a patient even if it would make me an enemy to someone else for a while?

Give me the warning, but then give me the option of going through with it or not. There are times (like when I'm out hunting with a bunch of friends that are sometimes overt rebels) at which I'm not concerned about running into a band of hostiles. I'd rather just be able to heal my friend, get the TEF, and go on with life.

Of course, if I was sitting in a hotbed like Anchorhead or Bestine, I might bea little more cautious.

Sure there's a way, if your getting shot at your TEF

I too agree that this is war and as far as i know, you can't get a tef unless you help your fellow tef/covert faction. Just thought this idea could help us know when we got a tef.

I have to sign up on this one. It's annoying in the extreme to have healed coverts who had a tef, without knowing about it, and then get killed while zoning into a starport/shuttleport. I'm an imperial doctor trying to fly into Bestine from Mos Entha, and I get killed by rebels with a tef before I can even see my screen...in an IMPERIAL city...gah.

We really need to be able to tell if a member of our own faction has a tef. Or at least if we have a tef of our own.

I'm starting to take all the radom death in stride. I expect it. Without more penalties who cares. If I start losing cash, items or taking equipment hits I'll be a little more careful.

Oh no I died again due to the random TEF. Pop droid. Click action heal. Click heath heal. Watch a dancer and sell buffs for a few min.

A consent pop-up would be nice once death penalties change.

i have to agree also on knowing if u are tef or not. i for one will never complan about a tef. but i does suck when im healing in a med center and then all of a sudden a rebel CM throws a mind nade and drains my mind. if i knew i had a tef i would have been a little more aware of who was near me and who was coming in. but lieki sadi im not complaining just would be nice

Are you kidding, man i've been killed by other fellow rebels in the med center for unknowingly healing an imp TEF'd player and that peeve's me off.

Yeah they need to fix this crap or as they say use a pop up indicating that this player is currently TEF.

I dont disagree with getting tef's for healing a player who is in combat. However, getting attacked while I'm trying to heal people in the med center, or getting hit by an aoe poison that may not be directed towards me just plain sucks. Perhaps the tef should be gained only if you heal a player who is actually in combat?
