I was wondering because I used a friends factory and I wasn't getting the little xp from it i used to by using my own? I havent bought a Food factory yet so I was wondering if I should just share my friends?

Honestly, crafting xp from a factory is so pitiful and restrictive [must be near the factory if I remember correctly] that there is no point in attempting to worry about it. I would just continue using your friend's factory if you don't need your own yet. I'm sure that makes it easier on your budget.
