Thread: Handy hint for part factory crates

Not sure how well known this is, but you can access your output hopper with out stopping your factory.

If you actually select "options" in the radial menu, instead of hiting the pull down menu, the optput hopper will open.

I find this very handy for pulling out part crates, as i don't like to only put 50 count crates on my vendor. So every 30 mins or so i go pull out whatever is made so far with out needing to stop the factory.

It's also handy for checking progress

Good tip. I figured this out by accident a couple days ago. Before that, I was just turning off the factory, checking the output hopper, and turning the factory back on. As long as you don't remove the crate, turning the factory off/on doesn't prevent it from being filled.
