I took a hiatus for a month. Thinking that perhaps things may change for the better for us physicians, I returned only to find that things have gotten much worse for me.

I am a doctor, with also some CH skills. My pets are my friends, I dont have any of those massive killer beasts that were so popular a short time ago, just a GSP that I adored. I am not an exploit player, nor have I the time to make this game a full time job.

I return to find that the so called "fixes" cause me to be unable to call out any of my pets regardless of what my level says due to some strange SOE "guerilla math" system. Not having the points to be a master at any weapon, I trained what I could and used my pets to help me with missions, to make money, to buy those expensive components for my medical crafting. To my horror, the missions pay next to nothing now! They were paying poorly before but now....its a TRAVESTY.

I see that Explorers, Artisans and BH have special missions just for them that pay quite well.

We all know that the HMOs in SWG are a joke, and that we physicians cannot live from the occasional tips of our patients, yet everyone is more than happy to reap the benefits of our healing powers.

Our class needs some attention here. We need to have missions catered to us, that will pay us a decent amount.

I dont want to give up this profession as I do enjoy it, but the inability to make any money at all to fund the expensive crafting we have to do is causing more and more people to drop this profession. It would be a rather unbalanced world should there suddenly be a large lack of medical personnel.

I know you were just having a rant, but to pick up on a few points -

Virtually free access to armoured creatures with 10k+ HAM was game breaking, no question. Even with no CH you can still use a creature than can tank better than you can, you just need to adapt a little.

Mission pay outs were and still are too high, the game is in massive inflation due to this. I agree tho doctors could do with their skills being recognised, it's a pain only having piss easy missions available becuase it only checks your weaponskill.

As for not manking money, if you stay in the medical centre, you probably won't. Doctors are in huge demand for high level groups, but you'll have to go find them. Doctors can make very desired stims, doctors can make a good profit buffing people.

There are ways to make money, sitting in the medical centre unfortunatly is not one of them.

don't see or expect a lack of Doctors any time soon, we are one of the more complete, usefull and working proffesions.

Oh and ya, i want medical missions too tho i've had a think and i'm not sure exactly what they could do that wouldn't be pretty boring.

my sole issue is crafting. I think my factory should give me XP! I have sold like 25 stim c's and I get no UXP that I can see of...
