Thread: Doctor Armor
At the moment, I dont wear armor. Just a flashy cloak an cloths with a med pack on my back. I look and feel like a true Doc. Unfortuately, I look and feel like a pile of bile in a pvp confrontation. Cant wear much armor cause of the stat reduction. My question is is there good Doc armor out there that wont freeze our minds?
Dr. X
I have a set of nice padded armour, the encumberance is fairly low and it is blue and white(need to ask for blue and white, standard is grey and blue i think) and looks very Doctorish (i hate composite for a doctor lol), i wear all parts apart from the helm, this doesn't hurt my mind regen much at all and offers good every day protection.
When going into a big battle, i will put the helm on, over a short period of time, not taking damage to the mind pool is more important than the regen you lose.
So if you want decent protection with out looking like a tin can, try padded
/equipt ??
not sure. thanks.
I use a MK3 (Personal Shield).. Saved my butt a couple times if I get an aggro on me, besides that I dont use armor cuz of the negative stats and just play support for groups. Most groups Im in the pets are usually tanks anyhow and I sit in the rear healing them, so need for armor. One thing about the personal shield dont let it get down to 0 hp it will break so keep it repaired when u get a chance.
sure shazz, on one of your other hotkey bars (mine is intoolbar 5) put all your armor pieces in the hotkeys F1-F9 lets say in there. then in the last slot (F12) make an equip macro:
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
etc.... for all the hotkeys loaded with armor ending in toolbarSlot08 in our case.
then in the shift slots i have my regular clothing setup with their macro at sF12
then the real kicker... back on my primary combat hotkeys (number one) i have the following:
/ui actoin toolbarPane04;
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
/ui action toolbarPane00
that one switches to the other toolbar (number 5 which because macros start with 0 has to be written as 4), puts the armor on via the F12 macro there, and then goes back to my combat toolbar...
i have the same thing for my clothes macro except the toolbarSlot23 is used (sF12 on the 5th toolbar). so with one click, i put on my armor, and with another i take it off.... works wonders. i also put in a cute shout for the armor on ![]()
