Thread: Give Master Doctor a purpose:
Give Master Docs the ability to heal mind damage in some way.

Bad bad idea. The flakey artsy people need soo much more help making cash and having purpose then a master doc. Go troll thier boards and feel some real pain.
How about improved bleed cure for Master Docs/CM's? Flesh out the class stay away from other peoples realms.

I'm all for them healing mind damage except that will just lead to all PvP combat taking place in the cantina while listening and watching to entertainers. Pretty silly really.
On a side note, the only way I will agree to entertainer buffs being equivilent to Doctor buffs, is if they have to travel from planet to planet gathering obscure dance components at considerable risk and expense, only to have to get more after they've used them.
Hehe sometimes I seriously consider dropping Master Doctor to free up that 1 skill credit! I am 1 skill credit short of training a more useful combat box and you are right: the final box to Master Doctor isn't really worth it.
The whole mind healing thing is so broken, even the devs admitted it's still got them stumped. I wouldn't go near there at all!
Other ideas for the final box include:
- improved bleed/tendwound healing (as the above poster said) - but I would have thought this would improve with Wound Treatment Speed
- "combo" med packs. Use a Medpack E and heal uphalf a dozen "minor wounds".
- improved resus results (reduced side effects)
- "combat cocktails" similar in effect to spice for the mind pool, but reduce effect and no side effects (doctors can use painkillers and drugs to focus the mind, right?)
- "anti-poison" / "anti-disease" serums. Requires components made by Bio Engineers... can remove poison or disease providing it hasn't already affected the victim
