This command is really really needed or for /bactajab to automaticaly use enhancers that are in top level inventory or god for bid the medic bag.

The macro;

/target self;

/pause 0.XX;

/ui aciton toolbarSlotXX

Is no substitue for this command, It gets messed up enough in PvE, I'd hate to use this in PvP when I need to count on it. I'm rather taking a 500point reduction in healing rather than using that macro. Like 90% of macro's that macrowill get you killed in PvP at the very least hamper you.

Since there's no Top 5 Issues or Current Issue thread that I've found on this board, I have looked in the sitckies which seemmainly about CU testing, I've made this thread.

this is sorely needed, pvp and highend pve both. as a pikeman/doc i usually alwasys draw the hate in pve and i need the extra 500 given with enhancers.

better yet, why dont they fix it so you heal yourself unless you target another player - none of that reverse passthrough crap.

either way it needs attention.

I'm currently using the folloing single line macros;

/bactashot self;

and

/bactajab self; I'd like this to be /bactajabEnhancer self;

means that I don't have to deselct the target I'm fighting which I really really hate doing. I'll use simple macros like this but I'm of the opinon the more lines a macro has the more chance it will go wrong and kill you.

yep i use the same macros (/bactaShot me, etc...) but i have to keep both sets of icons up for when i have to heal others in need - its a pain and i sure do miss the jab and infusion enhancers for me.

When we first realized there was no other way to use enhancers we (CM and Doc) asked for such commands. We were told something to the effect of "you have to select the item". The reasoning had something to do with not liking the old primary inventory issues that were there in the past. I think they wanted to cut this coding out of the game because it caused other issues. Of course they never really said that but thier reply gave me that impression.

So Sadly, dont expect getting a new command.

What we opted for instead is to get the icons changed on the enhancers so that you can tell them appart. The old buff icons would work just fine. This way you can just put them on your primary tool bar and hit them to use the heal. This would also be a much easier solution to implement.

Since for Doc the only enhancer I use is B. Jab I put that enhancer on my tool bar and use it directly so that I dont have to use a macro. Works great. The good news also is that the Stim D's icon is already different than B. Jab Enh so I dont get them mixed up.

Marrow,

With the way targetting works, I dont really think the toolbar solution is sufficient. Way too often, you either get invalid target message, or heal the person taking damagewhen you want to healyourself. I dont like the idea of needingseparate iconslots on my toolbar for a self-heal macro or heal other option - its already crowded enough without an additional 3 slots taken. I suppose the only option is to macro and key-bind?

I hope to get the targeting thing changed back to the old system for healing. This will kill many of these kinds of issues.

but still mean I have to target myself then hit my jab then retarget the guy I'm hitting. It doesn't have to be a command just the old system of automatic use if item is out of the crate and in top level inventory.

Also because I'm a melee doctor my guild like to target me when I go into a fight. Me deselecting gets me some nice verbal from my mates on TS. Yes I ahve the enhancer on my tool bar, I use it mostly on other people. The macro in combat scres up to easily and tapping my target self button and then the healing button is two long in short time pvp.

I really like to push from either the automatic use or the command use.

that happened to me also - dueling with someone in group. whats worse, it first healedthe guy (also in group) that i just got done dueling who was still recovering! this is what caused me to switch to the /heal self macros.
