"ok, I've been reading post after post on several boards on how messed up the Medical profession is, and I agree with 99.99% of it, and I've been reading how Dev love us so much they say .......nothing.

I dont know if this has been suggested before but has anyone thought about a medical PA? and building our own hospitals with an admission fee to make sure we get payed for our services? Am I an idiot or does this idea have merit?"

I think this is a very good idea. I know we all have our own PAs and such, but the idea of a Medical PA is intriguing...the entertainers on Bloodfin have their own...whynot us?

I take Zaazu's idea one step further:

1) The admission fee is something like 250 to 500, something that will pay each medic/doc a nice dividend when there are a lot of patients.

2) Perhaps use the doc or medic board to set-up a timesheet. Those available to "work" (lol) at certain times could post their hours and get paid an hourly wage. That would be consistent income for anybody working.

3) Including a cantina would be a good idea, as it would provide more incentive for wounded players to come in.

I see a Medical PA alliance with an Entertainer's PA as a very promising solution to our money troubles.

Well I don't know if you looked at the player city designs, but there was already plans for a med center. So you could in actuallity set an access fee for that and you would get about what you are proposing now.
