I am of course going to assume you are a DOCTOR and not a MEDIC since this is the DOCTOR forum...

Here is how to set it up... Find yourself a friend that wants to be a sacrificial lamb... Have him clone in ancorhead and then move to bestin... (on tatooine since the two cities are very close together its a short run to set this up)

Have him attack guards or just duel him and kill him, if he elects to spawn in Bestine instead of his pre-determined place (in this case his pre-determined place is ancorhead) he will clone with mass wounds...

Kill him 2 or 3 times max and he will have FULL WOUNDS on all his bars... Heal his health and action and he can go right next door to the cantina for mind.

Now I have found that healing wound damage is far more xp than healing the same amount of normal damage. So just use the Wound Pack - C (or if you are more advanced use a better one) on him (I use those cause you can use them very early in the doctor proffesion and if you buy good ones it dont take long to heal a fully wounded HAM bar) and watch the xp roll in. So far I have gotten up to 680 xp from a single heal when I heal wound damage.

Rinse and Repeat. Since this game has no perminant effects of death, you can just do this till you are master inall the doctor skillscept for the medical crafting and the only effects it has on your friend is probably mass boredom.

Doing this is way more efficient and faster than waiting on Ramdomwoundedplayer999 to walk into the medical center.

Of course now that I have posted this, and knowing SOE, they will probably do like the pets and every time you die you lose perminantly some of your max HAM - lol.

Or better yet, send your lackey to Endor and have him diseased by a Borgle Life Sapper. Those things send your HAMbars all the way black.

See? They nerf one form of getting XP fast and another one takes it's place. I think I shall call it the Napster Effect

I don't think they took away pet healing experience in an attempt to limit medical xp (I had mastered all 6 of my medical trees between Doc and CM well before I grouped with a CH), but rather in an attempt to force Creature Handlers to buy the new Bio Engineer stimpacks.

Just make sure your wounded friend goes to the cantina first, otherwise his high BF is going to seriously cut down on your medical effectiveness. I think 200 is the first part where it starts to decline.

My max xp from a wound heal is 1140ish. Advanced components on WoundpackCs rock!

Well, according to Q they nerfed it because it was being exploited by having a solo character have their pet attack a creature it would never be able to defeat, so it would continually take wounds while a medic would continually heal those wounds creating a neverending cycle (as long as the medic had stims) of healing XP.

Another good one, that I read about in these forems somewhere.
Get two or three people together, one scout, one medical, and a entertainer.
Go out into the field and find some radioactive resources.
When some one mines then they take wounds or damage, not sure which(I havn't tried it yet).
have the scout pitch a camp, heal wounds, and have the entertainer dance or play music.
A vertual xp factory.

I've been doing this for my last 6 boxes in the doctor tree..

Going to large cities and Buff people with your D enhancing packs, then heal them. If you buff all 6 stats and heal you should get 4000-8000exp a person. I just stand in front of the starport and yell FREE stat buffing. I got 6 boxes in one night and made ALOT of friends

Healing pets for XP was always overrated. Just group with people and hang in the med centers. You will get the med XP so fast anyways it don't matter. It's the crafting that's tough.

Other techniques..

1) Go to a busy city and spend a few minutes in the med centers. They're almost ALWAYS busy. Theed is really good on my server for this.

2) Get a medical droid and wander around the city and heal people. You'd be surprised how many people are wandering around with 1/2 the HAM black. Starport too. Also you can hang out in the cantina and get some patients who are healing their BF and mind wounds.

3) Heal substats first. All too often healing all your H/A will result in little to no wounds in stats by the time you’re done. This may be the "more expensive" option as you'll use more Stat wound kits, but it works well.

4) Heal damage as you're healing wounds.

5) Wear your Doc title as often as possible.

6) Buff people/pets

Out of the classes I've played so far, Marksman, artisan, scout, Medic/Doc, architect.. Medic XP has to be the easiest I've gotten and I hardly ever touched pets.

why do it like that? that is boring and no fun , although my proffession is doctor i consider myself a combat medic, i find 1 or 2 poeple take them adventureing against something difficult for them but not imposible i get to heal them as fast as i can , you get combat xp for you wepon professions and you get to go explore.

i salk up with stim c's and go , every hour i get 45k xp , doesn't seem to bad to me, then when i am restocking my suply of stim c's i sit in the medic center, and heal wounds in between crating components.

i made 3 quarters of doctor in 3 day's, seems to work

I've always been fond of the good ol' cantina grind. Get an invite to the entertainer group [not hard to do for one wearing "Novice Doctor" or any master tier title] and heal the dancer action bars. As long as you find a crowded cantina to do it in, the xp is awesome.

Join a PA... almost every night we have a hunting party of about a dozen or more folks go to a high lvl planet. I heal so much with C's it seems that it's only my cool down timer holding me back.

Realistically I average about 50K a night... I figure it'll take me a couple weeks to get through Doc... that's the fastest I've ever lvl'd a skill in any MMORPG I've played (w/o using an exploit).

Things are good as a Doc/CM now... I'm having fun.
