How do I craft the higher level meds as a medic? I am lost and i cant seem to use the public crafting stations. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

you probably need a food and chemical crafting tool. they go with the food and chemical crafting stations. when you are near one of those you can experiment, and creats blueprints for factorys.

you need either a house to put a personal crafting station or a droid with a food/chem station built into it. there are schematics that do NOT show up on public stations.

Hmm, I have level 4 Org Chem as a medic. What level doctors crafting can I work up to without having to purchase a droid or private crafting station?

you can work all of the crafting... medic, doctor, combat medic (yes you have 3 crafting tiers to do if you want to be full healer) with only simple crafting station making simple bio effect controllers... but there are better ways. You can only make (i think) stim C's and lower healpacks without getting a private crafting station.
Lokian wild wheat is the first "difficult" thing you'll need but not the last. Getting CRATES of bec, sds, crdm is proving to not be real dang easy for me right now. Some guys are hitting me for 10k per crate and you need many crates to make the good buffs / healpacks. It isn't easy and if you're not having fun, best switch now. If you are having fun and want to be a medical man stick with it, earn MONEY, join a PA if you want to. I'm doing it on Chilastra solo and almost master doctor and 5 boxes into combat medic.
Buying off the bazaar will BREAK your bank. Get to know harvesting people and crafters, they are the best source for your items.

I bought an Adv MSE droid with Lvl6 Medical and a Food and Chemical Crafting Station built in for 12000. Sure it's not fancy or flashy, but I don't care. And considering how many wuss-rebels run through med centers and kill Healer's Droids, i'm much happier with the MSE lol

Droids require nothing to control/tame... I have an R2 [not sure if it's advanced or not], it has 2 stacked medical modules for 110% med and a food/chem crafting module [which allows you to do more than the public crafting terminals]...
Lokian Wild Wheat is a pain for me to get right now as I live on Corellia and the trip to Lok is 2500 creds one way... once I start getting more established on Tatooine [closer to Lok, a plus there] with my wife, I'll be able to drop medium harvesters and afford to only go out to it every few days... other resources you are going to want quite badly are Tatooinian Fiberplast, Talusian Water Vapor and Dantooine Berry Fruit, the last being the hardest of all 4 IMO.
Not saying all this to discourage you or anything, just saying at first it's a little rough, but in the end it more than pays off. It's going to be alot of fun and I look forward to it.
