It seems logical to assume that a Master Doctor would be able to heal regular "white" damage faster than a Novice Medic.
Right now, unless you want to attain Master Doctor, there is no real need to progress in the Wound Treatment Speed line. Noone is in that much of a rush when they come into medical centers. It might give you an edge against other healers while you are trying to grind Medical Experience (if you are that type of player). But even with extra speed, Wound C's hit for 200 easily and most folks don't have that much more if even that many wounds.
In addition, Combat Medics receive Ranged Injury Treatment Speed. Although they are only reaching the same speed cap as with normal injury treatment, they don't have to waste time running to within 6m of their target either.
I propose the following be discussed:
a) Continued Injury Treatment Speed into the Doctor profession?
b) .5 second speed increase per level, keeping a hard floor of 3 second delay in between heals?
c) Possibly too overpowering, but there needs to be more incentive for the Treatment Speed line in Doctor.

Actually I wouls suggest that there are a couple of reasons to go up the line. Obviously the State Cures are useful. However I think the biggest reason is the speed of applying Enhancements. Getting those Enhancments on faster help lower downtime and get a party out and using those buffs faster so they have less time to wear off. For wounds, yeah not so big a deal. For Enhances (which if you ask me is REALLY the bread and butter of the profession, not wound healing) I think it is pretty darned useful.

I agree with zarlor on this one plus getting to master doctor adds the D level enchance packs for substats which is nice to counter act the increase in hame cost in knockdown just throw on a nice buff to quickness and the increasein ham costmagically disappears.

Or, if you've got good enough packs, the action cost for kd completely disappears =)

Lmao, go get Mind Poisoned and Mind Diseased by a Master Combat Medic then come back and tell me Wound Treatment Speed is useless lol
I spent two hours on my back a week ago and 30 minutes afterwards in the cantina after I got Mind Poiosned and Mind Diseased by a CM.

combat medics get injury treatment speed, i think. doctors get wound treatment speed. seems balanced to me.. leave it as is the devs would probably screw it up with bugs anyway

lol what makes you think that master doctors should heal damage better than master medics in the first place?
