Does First Aid 1 really give you any benefits? What medicines can you use with the +15 Injury Treatment that you get?

First Aid increases the effectiveness of your healing powers (someone with a higher first aid will heal more damage using the same medicine). It doesn't allow you to use new ones. If you want higher class medicines, you need Pharmacology.



PS In general, healing more damage/wounds means more experience too.

It's supposed to enable you to heal for more, however I haven't noticed a whole lot of difference between novice medic and first aid 4. Maybe it's just me but I see stim A's heal in the 200s then follow up with a stim B that heals in the 80s...there's no consistency and there is no significant difference in heals, I'm considering dropping FA all together and sticking with just novice medic.

First Aid:


This is starting to make me cranky. Must add /firstaid2 /firstaid3. If the bleed damage hits the action or heath WHY? cure it. Just let the bleed tick away and apply E Stims as needed.

Why? Because it's a DoT that not only does damage, but also wounds. Those wounds amy be slowing down the patient's regen rate or causeing them to spend a lot more points damaging themselves to do certain actions that it otherwise would. So the Bleed efectively becomes a problem that compounds upon itself, prossibly forcing you to stim far more ofthen than you normally would.


Then again, you can stim every 4 seconds, but you can only do an FA ever 10.
