I just want to confirm this because im giving up doc and medic for a while.

Yes, the only B-labelled things you can't use are the ones that require higher level abilities such as B poison/disease cures and B enhance (buff) packs. Wound medpack B and small stimpack B only require +5 medicine use, which is Novice Medic status. Any levels you can retain in First Aid will give you bigger heals with the B packs.
