Hi there.. I'm posting this because alot of people see me in game and laugh at me.. I'm a mon calmari TK master, Master Doctor... I can't count the number of times people have seen me and said... lol a mon calmari TK. that is so funny!!! WHY would you choose that race / profession combo.... well the reason is this... I'm primarily a PvE player, and although I belong to a nice PA the majority of the buffs I use are on myself.... Given that, when you have a full line of doc buffs on pretty much the only thing you have to worry about is mind damage.. so my rationale for chosing mon calmari for my race is that they have the highest possible natural mind atributes... compounded with that is the fact that I'm wearing a marine helmet that resists all forms of damage for 30%, which has been sliced for an encumbrance reduction of 35%.. which means that my mind cost for weaqring the helmet is in the 130's... I'm not sure where I was going with this except to say that there isn't much that can own a mon calmari Master Doc/ Master TK in PvE... I've owned alot of mobs that in my early days would take 20+ people grouped...

I chose Twi'lek a long time ago, actually before I chose Doctor. Now being a Master Doctor and being able to buff myself to extremely high values, I find the only thing limiting me is my mind. I currently have it maxed but Twi'leks only get a max of 500 Focus and Willpower and 1100 Mind.

A Mon Calamari is what? 1300 Mind and 900 to Focus and Will? If you're buffing yourself for 2500 each stat forget about it, you're a tank of epic proportions

I'm a Mon Cal Master Doctor/Novice Fencer. My mind stats are 1300/850/600, or 800/650, I forget. With buffs and armor I can solo a couple giant peko peko's in a row before needing to rest my mind, and I only have 2 boxes in fencer so they con red to me. It's good avian meat but the darn things are so big that even if they're flying directly on top of methey're sometimes out of melee range.
