Thread: Buff issue I ran into last night...

I'm a 3/4/3/4 Doctor out in the wilderness with 2 friends. We made a camp. I buffed one for Health (1440 not the best but not at all bad). I wait about 10 seconds untilthe "I can heal wounds again" message pops up and turn around to buff the second person. I get no Enhance on the radial menu.

Hmm... I think. So I turn back to the guy I just buffed. No Enhance on his radial menu either. Wierd. So we go on our way and camp later. Again. First guy can be buffed, second guy has no option. I was thinking something was wrong with the camps. So later we went back to our house and the story was the same with the exception that we stayed there much longer. Eventually I was able to buff the second guy but there was a SUBSTANTIAL delay in time between buffs.

Is this something I've missed or has there been a delay put in between buff attempts or something?

Try just double clicking the enhance pack while selected on the individual, that normally works for me. I also just set up a toolbar that I drag all the enhance pakcs onto, and when enhancing just bring up that toolbar and hit F1-F3 and f5-F7

Same faction. No TEF. For both of them. I just thought it to be very, very odd that neither of them had the radial menu option. It ended up seeming to be very time dependent. Prior to last night I could rebuff as soon as I could heal wounds again. Last night that was not the case. It was minutes after I was able to heal wounds that their radial menu option returned and I could rebuff them.

Just a tip - never use the radials. Always double click the packs. Seems to remove most every problem applying an enhancement.

Fair enough. I'll give that a go tonight and see how it goes. Thanks!

I've found the best way to apply enhancements is to put them in your hotkey bars. Use an empty set and fill it up with your enhancement packs. Then, just select the person/creature you want to buff and click your hotkey (or the associated key on the keyboard) to apply the buff.

Seems to work much better than using radial menus and you don't need to open your inventory to apply buffs.
