Thread: Proposed change to Enhancements

Thought this was a better place to post than the voting thread...

EVERYTHING in a role playing game is supposed to be a "roll of the dice" (or at least as much as possible).

All weapon damage is for example, as well as the chance to hit something... When you change this you change the "chance" in the game. Chance is what makes the game exciting, like seeing that combat medic miss on applying his poison and then getting killed in pvp, or a commando missing on his 3000 shot and getting killed like-wise.

Why not keep with the spirit that roll playing offers us... chance and keep things the same way they are now?

Hey, I have a better idea!

Instead of forcing things to be in a certain way, just because they "are supposed to be" so and so, let the people who are paying to have a fun time decide what is more fun. Do you really think it is exciting not knowing what you will buff for? I don't, I just find it frustrating to buff for a small amount.

What is the point in worrying about getting a low roll on a enhance D buff.

I have NOT been killed one time since they fixed the enhances by damage to health or action .... but end up dead or looking up at the sky 10 times a day due to mind damage.

We are 2/3 of a Master Doctor, and this idiotic way mind damage was implemented is a game killer for the Doctor Class ........

And from what im reading the best we can hope for is your favorite entertainer like ImaPorn Star dancing around playing her lute while everyone else fights =P

Well we can heal, not everyone else can do that. So some are getting buffed just to survive, and then it is not very good to get a 500 point buff.

And also, when fighting the harder stuff I can sometimes drop pretty close to death with a good buff value. I would die with a lesser one.

I want to be able to learn how to play my character, and not just play completely different all the time based on how high/low my buffs got.
