I'm tired of getting unsolicited "buffs" from the opposite faction for like 50 point improvements to all my stats without my permission.
This prevents me from getting real 2k buffs from my own doctors for a very long time. Is this only happenin on Kettemoor? Do the devs know this is going on?

This is a nice new grieing tactic doctors have started. They are talking about making a player giving /consent prior to buffing, similar to doctors and rez'ing, but it will not happen till at least the next major patch after the one tomorrow.

Well a buff is still a buff whether u like it or not. The developer give individual class different set of skills it is only fair that players from different classes use the skill to their own advantage. So I seriously don't see why this is an exploit.
Moral of the story: There are no such thing as an exploit, only regrets that you haven't thought of doing it earlier than someone else.

They just need to make it so you can only buff someone if you are grouped with them (similar to training someone in a new skill).

BTW the only time it happened to me was when a same-faction doctor tried to "help" me by buffing me for 200s and 300s. I was hiding under the title "Novice Artisan" at the time so he didn't know any better. I asked him to stop and buffed him for 2000s in return

From what I understand, TEF should stop doctors from different faction to buff pple from the opposite faction. If I am right, the arguement mention previously about the so-called "exploit" does not stand cos the doctor can't buff u in the first places.

I think the effect of the buff wears off as soon as you die and get cloned somewhere. If so then just get yourself killed. After you're cloned get buffed up by your pal with the better enhancements.

Dying isn't really a good solution...
Definitely a grief issue IMO.

Zarlor get in here!
I'm acutally surprised people didn't start doing this sooner.

i got a solution......
bigger buffs overwrite smaller buffs or adds to them atleast...
just like bleeding shots, you started to bleed more...
if you know what i mean
that way everyone stays happy, the novice doctor gets the XP and the player gets the big buff he wanted...

This happened to me one time after I died to a group. I had killed their doctor before I died so I guess he was mad at me because instead of attacking me he came up with his med droid and hit me with an enhance health A right when I came out of the cloning facility.
There definately needs to be something done about this, and having to be grouped with someone to apply the buffs would probably be the best solution they can do to fix this situation.

yep you can do this on any cloning center zergs, then just have a friendly commando or cm torch them and they'll be perma capped. Im surprised I havent seen more issues of this. Thankfully this will go away *crosses fingers* with the revenge tef.

The obvius solution is that higher buffs "overwrite" lesser buffs.
But ofcourse not the other way around.
It can also be a possible solution for the i-don-t-know-how-much-i-get-buffed-for problem
If the value is too low for your taste just reapply the buff.
