Thread: Doctor Mission Terminal Ideas & Voting Thread

I've seen a variety of various doctor mission terminal threads happening and wanted to see if we can consolidate them and possibly generate some concrete ideas for the devs on the terminal we all need. As stated previously, I believe that doctor mission terminals are essential to the longterm viability of the profession. Without this, we will soon be without any truly consistent means of income, since medical supply sales (i.e. shops), buffing, etc. are all extremely variable. While opening up a shop is a great idea, you cannot be a career "healer" (i.e. Master Doctor , Master Combat Medic ) with any skill point room for Artisan and vendor usage. The doctor mission terminal would provide a definitely more enjoyableexperience for the career medical professional.
I could see several types of missions for the "healer" mission terminal:
1. Combat Medic: Serve as a line medic for a group of Rebels/Imperials. Mission success is dependant on the groups ability to keep a percentage of healing for the group high (i.e. make sure everyone is at max heal for 75% of raid, etc.) and/or number of troops kept alive/rezzed. Obviously, this could be great for rezzers and also serve for complexity based on number of troops. Even a good rezzer gets overwhelmed easily and could fail a mission if not keeping up.
2. Medical Supply Delivery: Delivery mission to a needed. Simply a great way to keep the medical crafting profession a viable and money MAKING opportunity. We all know it's expensive to create, supply, etc. meds. Having an actual Medical Supply Delivery mission that givessignificant cashwould really be interesting.
3. "Doctor's Office": Obviously, we don't have these yet. I have a "pseudo" doctor's office now in my house with my droid where I will be able to serve the guild in the field. And of course, droids are still kinda bugged in houses (I think...). This would lead to the mobile field hospital (M.A.S.H.) or static player housing/hospital that will hopefully be coming with player cities and battlefields. Simply opening one of these could get you mission points, then using it based on rate of patients, quality of care (i.e. meds), etc. would get you dollars.
Please do one of the following:
1. Provide additional input/changes to the description of the Doctor Mission Terminal and submit to thread.
2. Provide additional terminal mission types and descriptions. I will add these to the thread as they come in so that voting can be expanded.
3. Place your vote for the most feasible mission types (i.e. vote 1-3, etc.)
Let's keep the ideas rolling. We need to give the devs good support from the community on what we would actually like to see. Let's get this created!

Just heard today that it appears the Endor missions that typically yielded 22-25k are now down to 2.5k... That means a glorious trip from Corellia roundtrip for 8800 will now yield us a whopping 2.5k.
Come on docs! Bring in those ideas for our own terminal! While we can make our living now off of buffs and med sales, we still need this for a longterm solution. BTW, when the devs decide to fix Chef and make food a great buffing solution, we might kiss our good days of easy buff cash goodbye (seeing is that is supposed to be the top buffing prof, not docs) IMHO.
P.S. Feel free to add to this: it's only our livelihood.

I would like a simple, plain healing mission. You accept a job to travel to a wounded NPC, and get paid to heal said NPC of all their wounds and damage. Not the mose exciting, I grant that, but it would be a way for us Doc's to up our XP, and earn a little scratch for our trouble. Maybe like 1.5 K per mission, cause we have to travel and use up our medicine. This is just a simple Idea we could have. Maybe put the terminal in the hospital, cause they kinda go together.
