Thread: PAY DOCTORS
Do you group and do missions on the advanced planets? I am a Master Combat Medic / Doctor and I make all my money doing missions on Dathomir and Endor. You can clear 50-100k on a good night with a good group.
Groups are always looking for a doctor that can rez and enhance.
Go with a small group or by yourself and do some missions on the advanced planets for God's sake.
Commando trainee/Any form of CH/A doctor in training (3 seperate people)=50-100k an hour running missions on Endor or any other advanced planet.
Make friends with an architect early in both of your careers...Get small harvestors and mine ore, nothing but ore... provide that ore to the architect to grind (exp for them)you out med mineral harvestors... mine more ore provide that to your architect to get your heavy florals, chemical,water, gas, mineral and fusion harvestors. Resources mined with big harvestors are cheaper to mine per unit than with smaller harvestors.
Sell excess resources to cover your harvestor costs...
Do not go in large groups for any reason to do missions(6+ people)... money is pathetic because it takes too much time to get the missions done. Politely explain this too big groups and most of the time they will want to split up.
Don't go to the Medical center and expect to live your career as a doctor there... Truth is people don't tip you enough to cover your medical supply costs and it is a pain in the ass and annoying to ask for payment up front. They are not going to tip you anywhere enough to cover the costs of your meds. Go to the cantina and heal dancers for experience it much more fun and the eye candy is better.
To repeat the medical center sucks... don't go there. If everyone who needed healing had to sit in themed centerfor 8 hours to heal there wounds a few times they will be much more inclined to tip you a couple of thousand when you are a master Doc and you knock out 400 wounds out every 8 seconds.
In case I did not mention this the med center really does stink... avoid it at all costs. Buy a droid with a med module... you are now a walking med center.
By the way, did I mention that the Med center is the Devil!
i support the claim that doctor and ch and comando can rock endor.
Igrouped with 1 person that was MCH and comando on endor wemade90K each but we both had to leave early. all i did was buff the pet's stamina and constitution and i only healed about 2 or 3 times when they were at 2/3 ham and that was actually pointless since the lairs take so long to kill by that time they would have healed to full.
Drizlar (Mst Swordsman/Mst CH) and I (Mst Doc) group together on Endor all the time and actually find it much easier than Lok. You can take missions that pay 26k and are a piece of cake to finish if your tank is buffed and had muon on reserve. I'm not saying its totally simple, and you do have to keep your eyes open and avoid posion/disease, but we've never had any serious problems there. We've only ever seen one lone Ewok before though, where are these guys?
Also, a note for your Docs who want cash and are angry for the lack of tipping. Once you get good buffs, just have a seat in the medcenter and offer to buff people with all 6 buffs for 5k. Throw in free healing with all buff purchases and some patience. It can get tedious but I made 250k last weekend when my roommate was away by sitting in the medcenter all day while watching movies and surfing the net (Alt-Tab). I know, I know.. how pathetic..hehe.. but I needed the cash to purchase my own shop.

Like other posts, we need money. Doctor mission terminal or something...anything...people paying you isn't reliable.
We only don't make money because too many Doctors offer their work pro bono and hope for tips. Change to a 'pay up front' structure and eventually, after the med xp grinders realize that they could be earning money as well, and you can make some bucks.
Also, you can easily make money all the way through medic and doctor selling Stim-Bs. Harvest advanced components for your starting Stim-Bs but sell them at normal prices. You can easily build and sell Stim-Bs in the 200 range for 400c, even if you need advanced components to make that level. People who grind ABECs or other components are just depriving themselves of things to sell. Don't expect to make sell the Stims for the same amount as the Master Docs who have all the experimentation points but rather for a discount.
Finally, as already stated, enhancement packs are portable gold. Park yourself on a hard planet and advertise. Go to Coronet and advertise. Set your rates and start making money.
I am a Master Doctor who doesn't have much of a problem getting money. I like many others post my services on my bio. I charge 3k for buffs to all stats and i set up a frequent customer service plan. After so many visits after signing up the fee for the buffs drops. after 75 visits its down to 500 credits... true that is not alot of money by far but the amount of money you have made off of that one person is a very high number... Here is my breakdown (feel free to use it or make your own variations):
6000 credits sign up fee - includes full buff and starts the plan (the new friends list modifications will let you input the amount of visits under the players comments window... next visit simply change the 1 to a 2)
after 10 buffs - 2500cr
after 25 buffs - 2000cr
after 40 buffs - 1500cr
after 50 buffs - 1000cr
after 75 buffs - 500cr
you will make 140,500cr off of one customer by the time they can pay 500cr for a buff.
I have already made over 50k off of 6 customers in less than a week. Spice it up and send some shouts out to the public... Youw WILL get customers. People like deals and this is a deal I think both Doctors and patients will be pleased with. I recommend not setting up a plan like this unless you are a Master Doctor. If you aren't MD then lower the prices and let the patients know what kind of enhance pack you are using. The money is out there. You just need to go get it... Plus, each of my frequent customers have brought in friends that are always looking to buff and they are paying 3k a pop.
