Thread: Preliminary Top 5

Well, those last numbers for where things rated were based on the first Issues voting we did, which ended up making a Top 5 list that never got sent (because the Devs requested we not send them more). So that voting only let me reorder the list.

The Second Top 5 list I sent was, in effect, tossed out. They had already asked us not to send them any more until the addressed the first list by then, but for some reasonI didn't get their email about that. Some other correspondents had to let me know about it.

So truthfully the best comparison for this list is to cpompare it to our very first Top 5, which I rated based mre on post volume and ratings than anything else. Compared to that original issues list there was some reshuffling, bu here's the Comparison.

#1 - Factory Problems (was #1 on the original listing)

#2 - Doctor Surveying (New Issue)

#3 - Mind Damage (Was #2 on the original listing)

#4 - Enhance Packs (Was #4 & #5 on the original listing, but they have since been consolidated into a single issue)

#5 - Heal Consistend (New Issue)

The only isse on the original list that didn't make it into the top 5 this time was that list's #3 Issue, Money, which despite its' prevalence in crossing so many of these other issues, looks like it will have dropped to around #11 on the new list.

Just to give you a quick look at the voting (I'll be posting the message later, but you've all red the isues by now) here is how the Top 5 came out, listing the Total Count on the preference vote an issue got.

#1 - Factory Problems (433) [previously #2]

#2 - Doctor Surveying/Medical Forage (283) [Previously #4]

#3 - Mind Damage(274) [Previously #3]

#4 - Enhance Packs(248) [Previously #1]

#5 - Heal Consistency(229) [Previously #9]

For those interested in the Top 10, then next 5 ended up as:

#6 - Experimentation Issues (172) [New Issue placed at #46]

#7 - TEF Issues (142) [Previously #6]

#8 - Master Doc Benefits (121) [Previously #17]

#9 - Medicine Organization and Inventory Management [Previously #10]

#10 - First Aid Improvements (114) [Previously #7]

You'll notice that #8 and #9 had the same count value. To break the tie (and none of the other formulas I was using for preference voting purposes would break the tie directly) I decided to rely on the Mean value of how important the folks who DID vote on those issues placed them giving #8 a Mean placement of 5.1, while #7 had a men placement of 4.1 (considering that this numbering is actually a reversal because the spreadsheet gives higher priority to issues which got 10 points, which were #1 issues, while lower priority was given to #10 issues giving them only a rating of 1, which is why 5.1 is higher on tis system than 4.1)

Just a little teaser for folks who might be interested.

Looks great, a smart system breeds smart results.

It will be interesting to see how many weeks we have to reshuffly the top 5 instead of actually move on to other issues because those were solved...

Nice to see factory as #1. If they do something about #2 I'll be ecstatic.

Here is the preliminary Top 5 listing:

1) Doctor Surveying/Medical Forage (same as last time)

2) Mind Damage (same as last time)

3) Master Doc Benefits (moved up from position 4 because the old #3 was consolidated into another Issue, effectively meaining it's stayed in the same realtive position as last time.)

4) Enhance Packs (moved up from #6 last time)

5) On Fire Cure (moved up from position #10 last time)

For those interested in a few of the statistics there were a total of 93 votes.

The number 1 issue had a preference total of 519, with 65 people listing it as one of their Top 10 issues, or around 70%, well over a 2.3rd Majority. With 35 people listing it as their #1 issue (38%) and 42 listing it in their 2 (45%).

The number 2 issue had a preference total of 469, with 60 people (65%, or just under a 2/3rds majority)listing it as one of their Top 10 issues.

The number 3 issue had a preference total of 417, with 55 people (60%) listing it as one of their Top 10 issues.

The number4 issue had a preference total of 300, with 45 people (48%) listing it as one of their Top 10 issues.

The number5 issue had a preference total of 261, with 46 people (49%) listing it as one of their Top 10 issues. (It drops to position #5 instead of 4 because the 45 people who voted on the #4 issue listed it as a higher priority, a meanposition of 5,on their lists than the 45 people who voted on this #5 issue, at a mean position of 6. Ah the wonders of preference voting! )

45.Battle Fatigue Notification

You may have noticed that Schematic Trading and Title Sticking are not on the list (which is why this list is shorter than the one on the vote thread.) That's because both of them appear to be fixed and nobody who voted for those issues jumped up to say what, if any, current problems they are having with those issues.

I did want to say that, once again, noissue on the list was not voted for. Only 1 issue had only 1 vote (Batle Fatigue Notification) and only 2 Issues had only 2 votes (Schematic Tradina nd Title Sticking, both of which were fixed in the last publish, as far as I can tell.) Every other issue had at least 4 votes for it.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who voted for #9 the On Fire cure. Hopefully, I can go back to PvP's soon and actually be able to help my PA mates who catch fire. Thanks guys!

Hehe, hardly. Just a computer geek who went into the service right out of High School, then did a bit of night school, but I never finished college. Self-made man, if you will, with a penchant to being a Systems Admin.

Thank you, for the Kudos, though.

Zarlor, nice job. Im glad you are our voice. Now, if I remember correctly, the devs are still open to sugjestions from us on what the master benifits could be.

Personaly, Id like to see a bonus to crafting items, and a larger increase in skill mods. but maybe Im just being greedy.

anyway we can stick HAM not updating and our health / action bars going off the chart when we buff ourselves on the list? might just be me but i find these 2 bugs to be rediciously annoying.
