Hi all,

Just getting into the Medical selling biz and would like to get some ideas on how to sell the packs on my vendor. What I mean is, do I have to worry about them being sold as a set?

I was thinking of making a bunch of Travel Packs and selling them as a set like that but then people wouldn't be able to see whats inside. I just finished making a batch of buffs (my first using a factory) . As well, I wonder if I just shot myself in the foot with this batch because the I didn't lower the medical use to 90 (they are 91 to 93) - didn't think of it until after I was done.

Some input would be appreciated.

I do two ways:

Single packs/crates on vendor; first come first serve.

Special order sets: In travel pack with customers name.

I thought about travel packs with full sets in them, but since there's no way of a customer checking what they're buying you may lose custom. Obviously regular customs will trust you but its the casual purchaser who probably won't.

Its just a backpack that holds 50 items. I sell a lot of things in travel packs - I just list the complete stats of exactly what is in the travel pack in the description field - everything from crystals to identical tissues/leathers, etc... Some people will be adverse to buy a travel pack though, it depends on the reputation you have on your server I guess.

The next shuttle will be ready to board in 9 minutes and 59 seconds...

Sell them in travel packs as a set

Load a set individually with an outragous price - like all 99999999's

No one will buy those individual ones but will be able to view the stats of the buffs in the packs - a little trust is needed though

Travel packs is the only way to go. When you sell in singles, you are guarranteed to sell out of one style before the others leaving you with tons of odd singles on your vendor (usually action as they are the easiest to make). When I make a crate of 50 of each, I bag them up in packs and name the pack EXACTLY what the minimum stats are of the packs.

It takes some faith from the buyer, but once you make a name for yourself, you will be trusted in the future. Also, people seem to love buying packs full of goods. Not sure why.

I sell mine as various size crates and sometimes as individual packs. I only put sets in travel packs when I get special orders. I don't find it much of a problem to sell out of one stat before the others, they all sell pretty quickly. I doubt you'll have a problem selling the 90+ med use packs. I don't even stock lower med use packs anymore. There is so much demand for master doc packs on my server that I can't keep up with it.

I don't worry about losing customers to travel packs since the forums provide a great network for calling out cheaters. Putting singles up as examples is a really good idea that way people know exactly what they're getting. You can also put up an item name "read me" or something like that which details exactly the contents of the packs. Overall you might lose a tiny amount of business but it's better than being stuck with random singles.

I do mine like UrXii' , sell crates of 5 of each stat and singles of each stat first come first serve.

Special orders in travel packs,if you get regular customers they will trust you , but itmay scare off someone new to your shop , not being able to see what they are buying.

Selling them in travel packs works well. People buy them pretty quick for about 180k per set on scylla.

I sell them in packs. 5 unit crates and I toss in a some bivoli just for fun. I do my best to make all the packs the same quality. They sell faster than I can make them.
