To my knowledge, yes you do need to have the meds in your main inventory. I havent really tested this recently but I have almost been killed, when I ran out of stims in my main inventory, and I did have free ones in my backpack. This was like a week ago, so I dought anything has changed since then.

If you have a bunch of cargo pockets in your backpack you can still use them directlly by double clicking on them but /healEnhance etc.. won't find the medicines.

I had a doctor before i quit the game some 4-5 months ago and just now returned and i'm going doctor again and i'm wondering if you still have to have medicines in your main backpack to use commands like /enhance (or was it healenhance i don't rememebr) stamina and stuff like that? That really annoys me as i'm a person that has everything organized 100% in his backpack, i have labeled packs to organize stuff in and everythign

if you drag the packs(or anything in your backpack) onto a hot key tab, you can use it from your back pack by clicking the hotkey.

Enhance packs can be used from your backpack, aswell as your main inv. I think all the other ( wound, stims, states, e.t.c) have to be in your main inv.

Hmm I can't use buff packs from my backpack, but I guess that when you use the generic commands (what I always do) it never works.

Well yes and no, when I use /healEnhance it would bother me if it used my janta packs I keep in my bag for special occasions. I wouldn't like to have to use each pack individually all the time to buff.

my droid , Bucket is an R3 with 4 crafting stations (all types), 110 med unit and 10 item storage. what i do is use his storage bin for 6crates of enhance packs(1 of each type) , 1 or 2 crates of bovali, and 1 crate or so of droid bateries.

other than that i got 2 storage/data droids i put stuff on too which free up my inventory/data pad considerably.

recently i've been hogging resources at 500k of each type or more so i'm running out of room fast

I have a seperate top bar thingy with my enhances in it, i get them from a crate, put them in my backpack and drag the icon to the bar. Thats how i have been doing it, i can see how many charges i have left on each pack, easier for me, prolly annoying for others..hehe

I do the same thing. I have a nice macro that just goes across the toolbar slots 0-5 and does the buffs.
