I know factories produce crates of 50, but it there a way to make crates of say, for instance, 25, without having to stand there and stop production at 25? Is there something sort of option or is it done manually? Thanks.

Depends on what you are trying to do. If you just want to sell quantities of 25 instead of 50, you can let the crates fill to 50 then use the split radial option to split one crate of 50 into 2 crates of 25. The next option is instead of creating 1000 use schematics you can create 25 uses. The problem with this is that after the 25 the schematic is no longer usuable.
