Currently I'm my guild's only master doctor. I've finally collected the resources to make decent buff packs of which I am quite proud. However, I collect my own resources, so Herby meat is precious to me.
Lately, my guild mates have requested I crank out some Stim B's. The problem is, I'm reluctant to use ACRD's in the stim B since it requires herbivore meat. Using an ALS, ABEC, and normal CRD, I getsomewhere around a 34/350 Stim B.
Anyway, I was wondering if34/350 is considered a serviceable STIM B and if other doctors leave out the ACRD to save herbivore meat.

For crafting of Stim and Wound paks, the use of the normal CRDM as opposed to the aCRDM is standard practice. It's just too much material to collect to make a stim pak that will only get another 40 or so effectiveness. The aCRDM is usually saved for Enhancements.

I can get around 413/42 without ACRDMs using really good resources. 350/34 is servicable. If it is for your guild though, I would suggest they take a group hunt to gather meat for you. Herb meat is fairly easy to gather in bulk. Just tell your guildies "I can get 350/34 or if you get me some herbivore meat, I can get around 380-390/34".

If they are requesting you to crank out the Stim-B's then find out what planet has the best herbivore meat, and have them reduce the wildlife population for you. Stim-B's at 34/350 is very respectable for normal CRDM's, and should be good enough for most people. If you want to have some fun with them, let their pride get in the way and make meat hunting into a contest. Most of the guilds I know love this type of friendly competition between members.

I can get 424 power without ACRDM. What are the stats of your components and organic and inorganic?

What?!?! You mean u don't have to use an ACRDM to make a decent 400+ stim? Doh! /slaps forehead.... I've been a doc for over 4 months now and never tried using a regular CRDM. *Sigh*...I have really good organic and inorganic and great ALS units..so this is all I need to make a good stim eh? Hmmm..guess u learn somthing everyday

Last night i made my very first Stim B schematic and used basic CRDM's and left the base charges on combine at 40, and experimented all 10 pts on power, ending up with 40/422, I was sooo excited, I am loving this crafting side, opens a whole new area to learn and perfect. Now to only get good avian and herb meat and Class 4 and in a few weeks if any good stuff spawns I'll be making my first buffs! :0)

Hmm I'm currently using a 450 / 36 pack of stim b's best I have seen in ages

I would say 36/450 is made with average ACRDMs and ABECs experienced in power unfortunately.

That's about what I get too, but then we're on the same server and are probably using the same resources
Those 197+ power ALS make it fairly easy to get 470+ stims B's when using ACDRMs. Using CRDMs I can get 400+ power no probem....charges on the other hand ...

Experiment your ABECs on charges, you will lose maybe 10 or less power to get 10 charges, totally worth it IMO.
