yup...i am currently useing a +5 which does nothing but one of my guildies is making me a pair of pants and shirt with a +15 so i will get those extra points
You don't get extra points for a pant/shirt with +15, that's for wound treatment.
You get the extra points by clothing tapes.
For example I have:
+5 apron
+8 SEA
+5 SEA
+2 SEA
That is my plus 20 suit.
My friend bought a +14 med exp belt, its sick, I want it lol.
see having 20 and 25 is differrent
if u stop at 20 u get the blocks yeh
but if u have 25 u get an extra +5 of experimentation
if this makes nosense, try it and see, having +1 makes sometimes a ASDS go from say Power 50 to Power 51, which wont be a whole block in experimental terms but it does squeeze a little extrra out of it .
This said my example is a fictional one, but i have seen that even +1 on a experimental screen is a noticible differnce, so +20 and +25 are gonna have differernces

There is no way to utilize the extra +5... you only utilize it in blocks of 10... that said, if what you say is true, I would have to see some proof to back it up before I believe it... given the game mechanics, it just doesn't work that way... at least in my mind. I can say I'm 95% sure it doesn't, but since I don't know for a hard fact, I won't dispute it's possibility.

That "extra" block you are seeing is the result of varying success during your experimentation based on the # of blocks you experimenton atone time. Great Success increases by 7%, Amazing Success increases by 8%. Check out the stickied threads at the top.
Improving your assembly skill increases the chance of amazing successes. Improving your experimentation skill (in blocks of 10) grants additional experimentation points.
