Ok first off I just Mastered Doctor late last night

Second i'm looking to start making meds and buffs to sell. However, i have a few questions as i've never done a profession before with crafting abilities. First off what type of factory will i need to use, Second what skills will i need to get to place a vendor down in my PA hall? I already have a few med exp stuff like the crafters apron (which i found for quite a deal on a master tailors vendor for 20k) and a few +1 tapes i've found over the months i've played this game and saved in my alts bank. What is the best way to approach this? And finally what stats in the avian meat and i supposed to look at really hard for quality meds and buffs? Thanks for any help in advance you might give!

First off, congratulations on making master doctor.


The answers to most of your questions can be found in the FAQ stickied at the top of this forum. Please give that a good read and then repost if you still have questions.


To answer some of the more striaghtforward questions in your post:


You will be using a Food/Chemical Factory (same as chefs use)

You can place a vendor by having Artisan 0030 or higher (merchant is helpful if you want to have multiple locations, or expect to stock over a few hundred meds).

The experimentation skill mods you get from the apron and skill tapes only help if you get a total of +10 or +20. At each level, you will get another experimentation point.

On resource evaluation, the sticky will give you a lot of good information. If not there, then try the Doctor Crafting FAQ on swgmedics.com

Oh wow. Lets see I'll help you out with a shopping list.

For the components you'll need.

Lokian Wild Wheat oq/pe
Tatoonian fiberplast oq/ut
talusian water oq
dantooine berries oq/pe
domesticated oats oq/pe
dolovite iron oq
herbivore meat oq/pe
class 4 liquid petrochemical oq/pe
avian meat oq/pe/dr
reactive gas oq/dr

For most other stuff keep in mind oq and pe adds power ut adds charges. If the inorganic doesn't have pe don't worry, if the organic doesn't have ut don't worry.

You also need a crafting tool, tried to find a 15.00 rated one, find a food and chemical crafting station as close to 45.00 rating as you can find. Get at least one food and chemical factory.

There is so much more to be said, but that at least will get you started making items. I've been a doc for about a month and a half now, I'm still working on getting everything together. Just take it easy and have alot of fun with it
