the purpose of this thread is to educate people on the "bivoli bug" and to help gather information on possible causes and solutions.

As it stands:

Players, when trying to eat Bivoli, get the error "You are already under the influence of this food" when they clearly are not, which prevents them from eating any more.

Probable Cause: you logged out of swg while under the influence of Bivoli

Possible solutions: some suggest logging out, waiting 20 mins, go again. Other than that the only thing we know for sure is that when the server resets you'll be OK, but now that servers don't necessarily have regular reset times you may be awhile.

CSR's for the most part have not been able to help but maybe we can get the dev's some info on this problem.

So if anyone has any more info on this, problems, solutions, work arounds, post it here.

Masternerfslayer.... can i get some sticky love for this one?there have been far too many bivoli posts that are exactly the same and maybe wecan get the word out

Yes I had this problem 2 days ago. This happened when I exited the character (but not the program) under influence of Bivoli.

I am pretty sure your suggestion to exit program long enough works. Yesterday Bivoli worked fine again.

This happens to me VERY infrequently, but when it happens, it is annoying.

Has always been solved for me by logging out for over 1 hour though.

I've never had the problem, either, but I've never logged off while still under the influence, so to speak..........

Logic says that it's a stomach filling problem, and if you log off long enough, your character gets "reset", and it should go away. I think they're addressing the problem in the new pub, so your stomach empties after you die, log out, etc.
