I just re-buffed my alt and I forgot to put my +25/+25 med clothes on and it let me rebuff over greater power buffs. This will once again allow stealth buffing unless promptly fixed. Please look into this.
The message on the character that received the buffs was:
Doctor re-applies your Healthnull
Doctor re-applies your Actionnull
etc....

tested it and I got the you can't apply due to having a higher buffs. Can you explain in more detail what was going on or what you were doing.

I think what he's saying has always been the case. I've done the same thing, or forgotten to eat any bivoli. It's not "stealth buffing", per se, you're re-applying a buff you already put on. If you watch, though, re-buffing at a higher strength cancels out the old buff, and puts a new one on.
For the record, you can't overbuff a stronger buff.........say, you have packs at 914, you can't overbuff a 946. It'll tell you the person already has a higher buff. You can overbuff a lower power. You have 946, the guy was buffed previously with 914, or like I've done, I forgot to do bivoli, which made my buff lower. Just re-buff for the extra 251 points, or whatever.
*edit* I just reread, and you're saying it let you rebuff over stronger ones?? Wierd.

Ok, I tried this again and now I can't duplicate it. I am going to test further and try to re-enact my actions. It could be that the original buffs I put on had ran out and the system erroneously gave me the re-apply meesages when in reality I was giving "fresh" buffs. I could have sworn there was over 20 minutes left on my original buffs though. My apologies.

It sounds as ifthe case may be that when the game checks for a higher/lower rebuff, it likelylooks at the pack power, not final value after modifiers (clothes/biv/med city/WT skill), or at least ignoring the BE modifier. Since your packs were the same power as the previous buff, it allowed the buff. However, since you did not have the BE clothing modifier that you had previously, the actual buff was lower, yet allowed due to the equal power of the enhancepacks.
Unfortunately this is not the case. It will not allow me to over buff if the power will be less than the current buff now....as it should be.
I'm sure everyone thinks I'm nuts now, but somehow, someway I was able to do what my original post says. Anytime I reapply a buff now I do get the message "You re-apply so-and-so's Actionnull", where "Actionnull" could be any of the attributes re-applied. That Actionnull thing immediately sends up a red flag that somethingis wrongin the system. It could be that the message system is messed up in someway, but it's certain something has changed. I have never ever seen that "null" at the end of the message before.

the only thing i can offer here is that if someone had some bf and you buffed them then came back with the bf cured, this would allow you to think you were re-applying them when you had lower buffs. But that would mean, in your case, that the bf loss on the first buff equaled the lesser buff of the none 25/25 enhancement... youfollow? not sure i do now that I reread it ehehehehe
anywho, that would be very coincidental that hte bf loss would have to had to equal the 10% enhancement of hte clothing.

That bug was addressed in the latest patch notes.
