Thread: wow..i came back to find that leaving was better

I have been a doctor since june of 2003 and a TK Master since June of 2003. I have been the same and have enjoyed playing that role. I wonder the lands, healing and finding what I need to make meds, and goods for ingame needs. Now, The revamp will illiminate my ability to harvest by requiring me to have 14pts reallocated to 2h for TKM and as I see it my medical skills may have to change. I enjoyed the fact I could go on extended journeys to visit the galaxy and explore a world with wonder...that got killed with speeder bikes..now everyone can shoot across a planet...or shuttle to a city near the crystle caves...the shine is gone and now this CU upgrade will make things more sluggish. I was never a combat god, just good at what i did...I knew my system and roleplayed the enigmatic wondering TKM/Doctor. I came back to see what was new and exciting...well for 15 bucks I found that I really isn't worth my time now...so I guess i say aloha...which means hello and good bye...to quote RvB thanks SOE you shisno's. Bitter? yeah, I thought a break would be great and i missed playing, but there will be those that will role with it...until something better comes along. But I now will be able to have more time to write that screenplay i have been toying with...so at leat SOE's blunder is my gain...take care docs...I wish you well and hope you will be able to weather this storm...huh wonder if this role out will be as bad as the buff bug or the muon gold blunder...cheers

Sorry to see you go. I completely understand how you feel. Ive gone from optimistic to extremely pessimistic, not really beacuse of what the medical professions have turned into, but how the overall community feeling towards the CU is. It feels like we are going through the dark ages of SWG.
