Hey docs. Im close to getting Master Doctor and was wondering how most of you folks go about getting resources for your meds. Do you mine them yourself with harvestors, or do you buy them from vendors and the bazaar?

My plan is to use mostly buffs, but I cant find any enhancement sellers. I just need enough to help me out with TKA fighting, and some heals (dont have to be too nice). Was thinking about just buying resources from shops and vendors instead of having to go out and survey. Mast Doc/TKM doesnt leave much skills points left over for any kind of surveying.

I'm a Master Doctor and Master Artisan so I run a medical resource business myself. I have8 heavy harvesters and 5 Medium harvesters (I wish I had more lots) of several types and I keep them busy digging up resources for the Medical community. Now I just need to find a Ranger to sell me meat at a reasonable price.

When I ran my stim business I always harvested everything myself. Only way to keep costs down. It depends on if you're planning on running a business or just harvesting for yourself. Personal use, just get a couple personal harvesters and grab what you need.

Running a business. I'd suggest picking up a partner or two for the extra lots. or a PA that has non-crafters willing to use their lots for your business. Then just watch the resource shifts and when something with good stats comes in throw down as many harvesters as possible to stockpile. After a couple months you should have a supply of most of the advanced component resources at decent stats to make good stims in mass quantities.

I run a similar operation to Travin. I harvest all my own resources both for my own use and also some stuff just to sell for cash.

To do this I have 2 toons on a single server that I pay for so that I can have my Doc/Merchant toon and my BH toon and use the lots between them for harvesting and structures.

I have about 12-14 harvesters going at any one time with 3 moisture vaps permanantly on Talus. For my offworld flora I rotate between Lok and Dantooine for wheat and berries depending on need and quality. I will run chems on Tatooine off and on and when not harvesting on Tatooine I harvest whatever is around on Naboo and sell what I don't use. Then I have other harvesters that I float around depending on what is available.

My biggest problem is herbivore and avian meat. I hate harvesting on my own with my BH, but I also hate paying the highprices on Bbay as well, hehe. I hope they give us back Farms someday so we can have a more constant source of meat in larger, factory friendly, quantities.

self harvest all the way.

Only way to afford to keep the stim price under 10cr per.
