I would think that you could charge whatever you pay for the meds and foods, plus 10-20%. I did not start buffing until much later (I was Doctor 2441) and with a bot, clothing, bivoli, and good buff packs I was doing 2000 per stat. I charged 10-12k, and had to turn people away.
Also, I think charging 8k at Mos Eisley for a 1500 buff is a great idea for newbie doctors and really helps out the squill hunters.

Just got my box so i could start to buff, bought a buff pack with 90 med use. Tried it and i buffed for about 1500 and 3.6h duration. x24x doc and wearing +25 injury/wound robe, will get some of that doctor food later(forgot name). What is an "ok" price to charge for this?

3k is the most you should charge. get some bivoli (+24 at least)and finish the 0440 portion before you start buffing the public for money. Those buffs are being wasted right now and you should save them until you can use them.

I play on shadowfire andppl were crying in guild chat over the weekend about getting hit with 1900 buffs, so you shouldn't charge much for them.

This brings to mind a question, sorry to divert the thread for a moment: If you've gotten a low-power low-duration buff-Aor buff-Bfrom a new Novice Doc with a shiny new Wound Treatment 2 box, do you have to wait until it wears off before a full MD buff will be effective?

'Over Buffing' will work as long as the buffs you are getting are equal to or better then the buffs you currently have. One way to get XP is to pre buff the line with crap buffs before a doc applies a real buff. Do not do this without the docs permission of course and let the people know what you are doing. The doc doing the buff line will most likely not mind as long as you are buffing for a couple hundred and not charging anyone. You'll be getting XP and moving up and giving the real doc Ap for training you.

Thanks. Not knowing this, I've been careful not to do any "drive-by buffings" with low-power buffs (for XP) for anyone who looks like an experienced player at the Eisley starport waiting to go get a full buff somewhere.
