I recently got an alt which i plan on making doctor to buff my main.
Now i only have one computer and no laptop.

No you can't even "see" LD players last time I checked.
But depending on your connection you can have both accounts logged in at the same time. I frequently have both of my characters logged in at the same time. Heck I'll even trade between them or trade whatever.

Yes you can.
This is how the Jedi discovered how to break the BH droids.

Yes and it should be changed. I don't know of SOE has any "official" stance on whether or not it's "legal" to do so I'd be careful.

if you do it fast, u can "see" the LD. only after a period of time, you cant "see" the LD even thoguh you still see him.
i dont see why it should be against the eula in any way. you are not doing anythign for gain, to manipulate the game content or mechanics. this isa technical issue only.
the only way to change this would be to compleatly kick out the player as soon as he goes offline. this would be TERRIBLE. how many times have you crashed in the middle of dath, and came back with your buffs intact and you just continue were you left off.
a few times i buff a player , and he goes LD, i cont the buff and he comes back. np there.

And also, if they change this, people will take advantage of it during pvp, when they are about to die.

It really doesn't matter since all you have to do if you can't, for whatever reason, buff the LD, is add a small file that you can create yourself in notepad to allow you to run dual clients. Set both characters up in the same area, close out, open client instances for both accounts and log in both at the same time... buff the buffee and log out the doc. *shrug* There is absolutly nothing that can be done to stop this legally, nor is it against any rules.

Got to your Windows Notepad and add this line to it.-->
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true
allowMultipleInstances=true
Now go to save and name it ... User.cfg and change the Save type as to All files
There ya go now you have a CFG file now, drop this file into the main SWG folder in your program files folder. and you aredone.
now load your first player then minimize and load your second player and all you need to do it is use Alt + Tab to switch between your charactors.
Hope this helps.

you can and i dont agree with it -- for the fact of jedi buffing themselves --
if you have 2 account sthat is a diff story as you can run both accounts at once

If he was doing it with more than one account he wouldn't need to do it on an LD character. We're talking about an alternate character on the same account. Many of the Jedi in my guild do it to buff themselves and as I said it should be fixed but I'm not sure if SOE has an official stance on it or not.
