Unknown Reactive Gas
DR=970, OQ=662

or

Known Reactive Gas
DR=671, OQ=886

Which one is better and which one you'd use?
It doesnt matter if it's Unknown right?

Thanks for answers.

I would say the known....

The experimentation on the buffs takes 66% of the OQ for the effectiveness DR doesnt effect and approx 60% OQ 40% DR for the duration.

I would personally use the one with higher OQ

The one with the higher OQ because it first off all raises the power of the Enhancement more then the other (886>662), and the first one is 785 in the Duration Calculation and the secondary Gas is 800 in the Duration Calculation (40%:60%)

It depends what you'd like your end product to be. Alot of PVE and grinders would appreciate the longer duration, I'd estimate an additional 30 minutes on the 970DR over the 671.

For PVP I'd go with straight power, or OQ.

Low DR will limit the power of the buff as well due to the experimentation of Power and Duration being in the same "stat" [efficiency]... I would suggest trying both, unless that is not an option. At first hand I'd have to say using the higher OQ, but since I realized that a lower DR can limit the power [as well as low OQ limiting duration], I don't know for sure.

I dont think the lower DR actually lowers the potential experimentation of power. It does force you into single point experimentation at the end, but you can still squeeze out every point of potential power (from my experience).

To answer the question given, I always prefer higher OQ in reactive gas. The only time I would shy away from a gas is if the DR is something less than 200.

If you are considering these for purchase, I would suggest checking out swgcraft.com to be sure that there is not something better that is either in-spawn or recently shifted. I always use gas with OQ > 950, but I have been collecting resources for several months now on Flurry (some servers may not be as lucky with resource quality).

while on Flurry, don't visit Ojes Yobe's Liquidation Vendors just 800M from Theed starport on Naboo (neg5219 3419) - cause they ain't there anymore! They are now exclusively located in Mos Athens Mall

Thank you all for your input. Thought it's a bit more tricky than it might seem at first glance.

I'm new in this bussiness just starting collecting resources. And these two are recent spawns and got about 500k of the Known Gas.
I guess i have to hurry up and get some of the other as well and try to experiment with both.

Thanks again.

I'd go w/ 886 oq stuff. Using the unknown 662 oq stuff, your going to loose a little over 50 power on your buffs when you craft them. To me, thats WAY to much!

The "name" of the Reactive Gas doesn't matter - only the stats. So don't get hung up on the whole "known" / "unkown" thing.

OQ is king. I've been selling buffpacks for a long time and I can tell you that power >>>> than duration in terms of sales. There will be a few that would prefer duration, but they are generally the minority. (unless it's really lowlike 200)

Both of the gases you listed will give you 3+ hours in duration that's what you generally need to shoot for. Therefore, you're better off going for the one with the highest OQ.

I have to agree with the others here. Use the higher OQ reactive to make your enhance packs, but try one pack with the other gas just to see the differance in power versus duration,that is ifyou can spare the avian.

The high DR gas coupled with a lower quality avian could still be useful for those dry spells, as entertainer or freebe new player buffs. I still enhance the new players when I see them (rare)for no charge (just run up and do it) I used to use low end D's to do that, if you can call a 799/10301low end.

OQ for sure. otherwise your power is going to stink.
