Thread: droid hack/droid bug/exploit or something....

Yesterday while I was buffing on dantooine, mining outpost on the dantooine server, I was sitting there buffing my heart away, i was on my last guy when all of a sudden i hear this weird noise by my droid, and such. Didn't think too much of it, so i buffed one more stat on the girl i was buffing, when all of a sudden, i look up my droid is running off and he's like 100M away!!! I'm like what the holy F****, I then jump up tell the girl i'll brb, bring my bike out, jump on it and ride out and find the little sucker in the water. I've heard that smugglers can hack droids and try to take off with them, and i've also heard that its a bugged that apparently got fixed. So i'm asking you guys as i just dont know.
To let u guys know, My droid has been programmed and such, with all the commands. I had him grouped and had him in the command stay so i dont know why he would be taking off like that. Can anyone give me some advice? should i send a ticket in to let them know of the problem and the bug if there is one?

A playerspammed the /summon command on your droid.
Though I thought the Devs had fixed it.
Perhaps the patch that broke so much stuff, reactivated this grief tool?

no... i think it was some miner or so attacked the doc/droid or so so he runned away since no combatmodule..
happens to some docs in coronet aswell. but nto to me becuase my droid has a combatmodule *evilgrin*

Plus check the battery. When the battery get low on my bot he tends to start wandering around

I've had that happen, but only once and eventually he came back.

ok thanks guys....
what happens if the droids battery power runs out? I've let it get down to 10% but i quickly recharged him....

Nothing ever happened to me other than the "your outside and you can't heal wounds/buff stupid" message... I recharge and buff away..
My droids eat batteries like they are steroids tho..

Why would you chase it 100m if you are in a town anyways? Store and instantly recall it out. 
Does sound like a rather annoying bug tho, heh.

well because in the middle of a buff you're not thinking OMG i'll just store it, your'e like OMG my F'n droid. i know now to just store his ass and thats it. but those couple times it happened, not funny at all.
