Thread: 55 Med use blankets Possible?

I have heard about med use fire blankets at lvl 56 and 57. From what i understand it is impossible to make them down to 55. I am wondering if anyone has been able to do it or if this is just working as intended to keep novice docs from being able to extinguish fire.

I have gotten MU56 with 700oq 900pe Fungi.
I KNOW that 55 is possible just need alittle better Fungi

I remember seeing a Doctor on Sunrunner on a holy quest to do this... I'm sure that it is possible tho, considering how close some have gotten... not sure if that Doc on SR ever got it... hmmm.

I make them.
You need very very good rori fungus and alum. The OQ and PE need to be in the 950 range or you will fall short.
It does not make any difference if your a 12 doc or a 10 point doc. To make a 55MU FB it is all about the resouces. Of course if your a 12 point doc you will be able to beef up the effectiveness.

Very glad to hear that this has been done. I am not sure if any rori fungus has spawned that high on sunrunner. I will have to check into it. If you remember the name of the doc that tried to make it on sunnrunner i would love to find out whether he was successful.

dunno if that was me or not...but i was trying. resources just havent been good enough for it.
989oq alum + 849oq/733pe got me +56
the same alum + 903oq/66pe got me +57
...need better fungus,higher oq alum, or maybe one of those critical assembly rolls that ppl been talking about lately...

Been done on Ahazi, better fungus spawned and made it possible recently.

can you actually use them without the extinguish fire command ?
Tbh ive been a doc for around all my time here and ive never once used a fire blanket so scuse the nooby question
