Once buffs are gone, there is very little for me to keep doc for, was only there to help with my jedi Alts grinding and seeing as though I believe CM gets the ability to rez and buffs are going there is very little reason to remain a doc.
BE/Chef sounds like an interesting and yes before it is pointed out a profitable one, about the only profs not covered within the guild.
Enjoyed being a doc, shame it had to end with suck (In my opinion) stupid changes
Docs are docs, a high level medic that fights is surely a CM

one less? probably hundreds, maybe thousands less...
This makes me rather mad, especially after contacting CSR's about it. I got another acount so that I could craft, and like many others, I spent millions (54) my entire fortune that I took the entire last year to get, and now they are nerfing the proffesion making my clothing worthless, I am trying to sell it on our galaxy trade forum, and for less then 1M a point min bid, not one peice has an offer after two days, I am going to lose everything, and SOE is going to lose two more accounts in addition to the hundreds (maybe thousands) of other doctor crafters.

If you're going BE, at least you'll still be able to craft the meds (if they're worth the bother). For me, I'm 11 points, and even going BE, the clothing goes from "highly valuable" to "nice to have".

Your Jedi will have built in Buffs, so it's not needed anymore. (Jedi's get 3k health earlier than all other classes.) There are some very nice buffs now, have you looked at them? CM will have rezz yes but with a big rezz sickness, not sure this is ideal for Jedi.

It can be. Tissues are going away (i think) but remember, BE stuff is NOT required for Docs. It will be a matter of preference.

I had my doubts but after playing tons, it is not bad as it seems. If you have a business sure but people need to be out from under our thumbs.

Medics/Docs aren't supposed to be fighting. We get Armor Certs but no weapon certs. We also drop out of combat very easily, if I draw agro in batter or an area attack hits me it's not 10 seconds before the combat music goes away.
