Thread: Serious CU Doc Question

Ok I would like to have everyones personal opinion of this question. Why would I want to keep MD after the CU? I'll list the reasons why I am asking this.
Please be constructive on your reply's.
1. CM's can heal
2. CM's can do weapon dmg/Dot dmg/and cause negative enhancements
3. CM's can revive dead
Most will say but MD can buff. In your opinion will the buffs be significant enough to warrent the profession?
People will say that MD can heal DOT's. How many places will we go other than in PVP's situations that will warrent a large number of people to keep MD?
Again I am just asking not trying to flame.

btw, the new faction armor I was using today looked cool as hell.

We can heal "mo betta" then CM's....they may be able to heal more, but we heal harder.

At this point, we have yet to see the in-play difference between a doc and a combat medic. Until we see what the differences are, we can't say. Hopefully we'll know soon, as the advanced professions just got opened up today.

There are definitive strengths and weaknesses to both.
You will want Doctors for the high power heals, the buffs, the cures.
You'll want CM's for the area healing, the debuffs, and the DOTs.
The Doc is limited in range, the CM is limited in power. I think that they both go nicely together, but mastering both isn't essential. That being said, I do intend to keep Master Doc, Master CM on one of my characters, from what I've seen so far.
